MISSION STATEMENT
To support the health and safety of healthcare workers and patients through innovative solutions addressing the endemic issue of needlesticks and sharps injuries in healthcare settings.
SUMMARY
The company develops and provides medical products that support the health and safety of healthcare workers and improve patient outcomes. Company devices and products are utilized in hospitals and health systems across the U.S. product. The founder holds significant experience and background in public health practice and advocacy and in parallel the company advocates for issues affecting healthcare workers including infection prevention and needlestick and sharps safety. Additionally, the company advocates for patient safety including those in dialysis, neuromonitoring and in surgical settings.
HISTORY
The company was established and inspired by founder’s experience working in clinic settings and witnessing the ongoing sharps and needlestick dangers experienced by healthcare workers. The company developed NeedleTape to support the health and safety of healthcare workers in parallel with needlestick safety advocacy activities. Research and advocacy on this topic and presentation of papers and research findings have taken place at relevant society meetings. Invitations and partnerships with advocacy societies including ASET-Neurodiagnostic Society, ASNM-American Society of Neurophysiological Monitoring, APIC-Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology, Renal Business Today and others are ongoing.
